Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry

Strong understanding of lifting equipment, rigging, and load-handling techniques

Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations

Strong communication and leadership skills to manage crane operators and riggers

Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities on-site

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lifting plans

Valid lifting supervisor certification or equivalent

Develop and implement lifting plans to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment on site

Supervise and coordinate crane operators, riggers, and other personnel involved in lifting operations

Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide training and guidance to maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency

Monitor lifting equipment performance and recommend maintenance or replacement when necessary

Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
