Kerja Sepenuh Masa QA-QC Engineer, Gaji tinggi MYR 5,500 di S&I URBAN DESIGNERS SDN BHD Sarawak - Maukerja

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QAQC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control operations for our ongoing infrastructure and specialized aviation construction projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities adhere strictly to regulatory standards, client specifications, and internal quality protocols. You will work closely with the QAQC and site construction teams, assist in coordinating with local authorities (such as JKR and airport authorities), and manage project quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:-

Team Collaboration & Quality Compliance

• Collaborate closely with the QAQC and site construction teams to ensure all ongoing work complies with the required project standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor compliance with construction protocols, identify quality risks, and implement prompt corrective actions.
• Review and check materials and equipment used on-site, ensuring adherence to quality specifications and regulatory requirements. Support the administration and coordination of submission workflows for client approval.

Stakeholder Engagement & Authority Liaison

• Participate actively in project coordination meetings alongside consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with JKR and airport authorities under guidance to ensure smooth project execution, regulatory alignment, and standard compliance.
• Assist in the application and compliance processes for obtaining necessary Operation Permits.

Pre-Construction & Engineering Documentation

• Verify that technical and construction drawings are finalized and approved prior to the commencement of physical work.
• Prepare and draft the Method of Statement (MOS) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) before site works begin.
• Manage and systematically maintain critical project documentation, including Site Memos, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Requests for Information (RFI), and Work Inspection Requests (WIR).

Specialized Project Scope

• Support quality assurance activities for the construction of specialized infrastructure, including a platformed hangar, ramps, and taxiways, ensuring absolute compliance with stringent airport authorities' regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in QAQC roles within the construction industry. Experience working on JKR projects or aviation/airport infrastructure (hangars, taxiways, runways) is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in preparing ITPs, Method of Statements, and maintaining/tracking NCR/RFI/WIR registers.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills to effectively interface with consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Availability: Able to commit to a 1-year contract duration and start on short notice.
