Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary Manager to lead and oversee the corporate secretarial functions for a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, provide corporate governance advisory, and manage a team to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee company secretarial portfolio and ensure full statutory compliance
- Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory obligations, and regulatory guidelines
- Review corporate documents including notices, minutes, and resolutions
- Attend Board and Shareholder meetings to provide advisory support when required
- Monitor departmental KPIs and client collections
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of executives
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, regulations, and internal SOPs
- Review and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency
- Prepare and present reports for management meetings
- Advise on restructuring, company closure, and internal corporate transactions
- Manage billing and receivables for client portfolio
- Stay updated on regulatory and governance changes
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Member of MAICSA / MACS / MIA or equivalent professional qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably within a professional services or corporate secretarial firm.
- Experience in leading or managing a team
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, Companies Act, and compliance
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple portfolios and deadlines

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
