About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and responsible PROTEGE Engineer to support our traction motor overhaul and workshop operations. The successful candidate will work closely with technicians to ensure overhaul work is completed according to schedule, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise workshop technicians during traction motor overhaul activities.
- Carry out complete overhaul workflows including disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing.
- Perform testing & measurement activities:
- Insulation Resistance Test
- Vibration Measurement (gE / TIR)
- Rotor Balancing
- Routine Motor Performance Test
- Monitor daily job progress and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
- Work with procurement to track and request spare parts and consumables.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during overhaul.
- Prepare technical reports, test sheets, and job completion documentation.
- Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping, and compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Automotive Refinishing, or a related engineering/technical field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).
- Hands-on and willing to work in a workshop environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates with experience in automotive painting, surface preparation, coating application, vehicle refurbishment, or workshop operations are encouraged to apply.

Preferred (Added Advantage)
- Experience in rotating equipment, motor repair, automotive workshop operations, or rail industry maintenance.
- Knowledge of vibration testing, balancing, and motor electrical testing.
- Familiarity with technical reporting and documentation.
- Experience in automotive painting, paint quality inspection, surface preparation, corrosion protection, and finishing processes.
- Knowledge of workshop safety practices and quality control procedures.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
