Kelayakan

·         Applicant must possess at least a diploma in food & beverage or equivalent

·         Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of F&B operations

·         Specialised in Omakase/Kaiseki cuisine

·         Excellent sushi knife skills

·         Efficient at food preparation such as cutting fish, preparing sashimi and vegetables, etc

·         Familiar with Japanese ingredients, preparation techniques and practices in Japanese cuisine

·         Organised with a keen eye for detail

·         Strong communication skills with customers during opening hours – life of the party personality

·         Excellent operational, administrative and interpersonal skills

·         Strong management skills in terms of managing the kitchen and its staffs

·         Confident, persistent, dedicated and able to work with minimal guidance

·         Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia

·         Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

Tanggungjawab

1.       Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

2.       Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards

3.       Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way

4.       Give prepared plates the final touch

5.       Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

6.       Rectify arising problems or complaints

7.       Perform administrative duties

8.       Organizing special events, such as collaboration with other chefs or special theme events.

9.       Generate ideas to help with revenue

10.   Supervise the kitchen staff to ensure that they are performing their duties efficiently

11.   Provide training for new kitchen staff

12.   Check the daily list of required ingredients, monitor food inventory levels, and determine what needs to be restocked and when.

13.   Monitor food budgets and ensure supply orders do not exceed allocated budgets

14.   Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs.

15.   Maintain kitchen order and hygiene by ensuring the cleanliness of tables, counters, and all work areas
