We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Assitant to support environmental compliance, wastewater treatment monitoring, and occupational safety initiatives. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in environmental management and sustainability are encouraged to apply.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science/ Engineering/ Occupational Safety & Health/ or related discipline.

• Experience Level : No experience required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Skills : Knowledge of environmental, occupational safety and health regulations.

• Basic understanding of wastewater treatment and environmental monitoring processes. Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Competency : Not applicable. Language Required : English and Malay language.

Job Responsibilities & Authorities:

1. Assist CePIETSO and technician in Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) operation and management.

2. Perform standard sampling duties and laboratory testing for the performance monitoring of IETS.

3. Ensure proper handling and disposal of scheduled waste.

4. Assist in ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health requirements.

5. Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions, and near-miss cases, including preparation of investigation reports and corrective action followup.

6. Assist in preparing environmental and safety related reports and ensure all records are maintained, updated and kept traceable.

7. To carry out any other duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by immediate Superior/Management.
