To plan, organize, direct and coordinate the staffs and resources for efficient, well-prepared and profitable service of food and beverage operation in line with the service standard.

The ideal candidate will personally verifies that guests in his outlet are receiving the best possible service available by checking on standards of services and to be demanding and critical to service standards as well as hygiene standards. He must constantly strive to please all guests that he may meet and maintains an atmosphere of tranquility at the restaurant. The most important is always aware of the diet requested of certain guest and brief to all the staff and chef.

The ideal candidate is a passionate person in promoting teamwork, display a confident, professional manner, flexibility with high energy levels, show initiative and sense of urgency, and observe confidentiality and high level of integrity.

1. The ideal candidate will verify constantly that the physical product in all aspects is consistent with the department standards.

2. Periodically inspects restaurant and surrounding to ensure cleanliness and well maintained restaurant.

3. Ensure that policies and procedures in regards to staff appearance, hygiene and sanitation are enforced.

1. To conduct a daily briefing for all the staff.

2. Ensure all staff has accomplished their side duties. Checks side station before and after meal periods.

3. Replaces or waives payment of any unsatisfactory food or drink and takes appropriate action to remedy the situation and implements procedures to avoid recurrence.

4. Ensure proper manning in the outlet and bar.

5. Monitor food and beverage quality and portion control

Marketing Responsibilities:

1. Fully understands the market needs of in-house guests and local market, assisting in the development of product lines and services accordingly.

2. Entertains regular and potential clients and maintains excellent guest relations.

3. Update and informs staff of menus and prices.

4. Develops and monitor staff sales incentive programs ensuring staff meet their sales targets.

5. Implements and utilizes guest history program. Creates pool of regular guest for the outlet.

Personnel and Training Responsibilities:

1. Provides training to increase the knowledge of the staffs.

2. Gives his subordinates frequent feedback on their performance and status of development and conducts annual appraisals.

3. Project a positive and motivated attitude among his peers and employees at all times.

4. Ensure that all personnel and training related policies are in line with hotel standards.

5. Ensures that all areas of responsibility are properly staffed, supervised and operating smoothly.

6. Ensure employees comply with grooming standard.

Administrative Responsibilities:

1. To maintain all hotel records and forms as prescribed by established policies and procedures.

2. To report the daily operation in logbook for future reference.

3. To attend all briefings and meetings as requested and necessary.

4. Conducts briefings and meetings as per established policies.

1. Good in the use of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word)

2. Good communications and writing skills

3. Experience in hotel will be an advantage

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

6. Reliable with patience and professionalism

7. Associate’s/College degree in Hospitality management or relevant field is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
