Requirements

Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Batu Kawan, Penang
Contract: 1 year renewable
Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,000

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team!
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment validation, and process improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Support process and product technology optimization, validation, and troubleshooting
• Assist in the selection, design, development, and implementation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and materials
• Execute testing and experimentation activities, analyze results, and recommend improvements
• Support the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials, including installation, calibration, and documentation
• Participate in process validation activities, including PFMEA, validation plans, protocols, and reports
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities (Calibration Engineering Role):
• Perform and support equipment calibration activities
• Maintain measurement traceability to recognized calibration standards
• Support internal and external audits
• Develop calibration procedures and technical reports
• Assist calibration technicians and support laboratory operations
• Drive standard work practices and quality compliance across calibration activities
