Essential skill and requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in electrical/electronic/mechatronic engineering or equivalent.

• Work Experience: 2 years+ experience in functional test system development

• Passionate in software programming is a MUST, experienced in NI LabVIEW, TestStand and C# is a plus                     

• Persistent and patience in electronics/electrical circuits trouble shooting is a MUST

• Able to analyze electronics schematics, circuit operations and datasheets is a MUST

• Self-motivated and committed to assigned project for in-time delivery is a MUST

• Must possess strong logical thinking and good analytic skills.

• Experience in embedded system like STM32 and Arduino is a plus.

• Experience with test equipment like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, DMM, electrical load, DAQ card is a plus.

• Experience in PLC/Ladder diagram programming is a plus.

• Able to carry out technical conversation in English is a MUST

• Multi Lingua (Mandarin or Spanish) to liaise with China / Euro / Mexico business counterparts is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Primary Functions:

• To participate in functional test development projects for PCBA Functional Tests and HLA (High-Level Assembly) Functional Tests. Work scopes includes but not limited to UUT functionality verification in AC/DC/RF/Embedded electronics domains & UUT Firmware Programming.

• To develop test software using NI software suite (LabVIEW, TestStand, C#)

• To design test interface boards, custom electronics and system level schematics (Machine level wiring diagram) for machines/testers.

• To participate in test system integration and test system performance verifications, to ensure hardware and software works according to the design specifications.

• To participate in on-site machine commissioning and data collections, to ensure machines are developed with high reliability and repeatability.

• To participate in remote software support occasionally.

Auxiliary Functions:

• To collaborate with mechanical team to ensure machines/tester design is functional, ergonomic and fulfill machine footprints, dimensions, and other physical parameters requirements.

• To collaborate with project management team to ensure projects progress and complete within the committed timeline.

• To work with service/support team to ensure minimal down time for deployed testers.

• To assist in technical writers in documentation work for machines/testers.
