Are you passionate about PC hardware and enjoy solving technical challenges? As an IT Technician at our Viva City Mega Mall branch, you will handle custom PC builds, repairs, and ensure customers leave satisfied. This role combines hands-on technical work with frontline customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure custom PCs according to customer specifications, including cable management, BIOS setup, OS installation, stress testing, and QC before handover.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults for walk-in customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by clearly explaining build or repair processes and managing expectations on turnaround time, driving positive Google reviews.
- Process warranty claims in-house and via RMA to principals; track status, parts replacement, and turnaround time. Advise on BrightCare or out-of-warranty options.
- Maintain branch facilities: replace downlights, transformers, power supplies; perform basic electrical and lighting upkeep. Keep POS, network, and equipment running smoothly.
- Submit a weekly report to HQ covering jobs completed, pending items, warranty status, and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in PC assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and facility maintenance.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical matters to non-technical customers.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
