Full Time Data Center Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Farben Information (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Johor - Maukerja

• Recent Graduate:Pursuing a full-time College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Experience: No prior professional experience required, but a basic understanding or passionate interest in computer server rooms, IT hardware, or network basics is highly advantageous.

n this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced Internet Data Center (IDC) environment. You will work closely with on-site maintenance engineers, server experts, and network engineers to support daily operations, monitor data center health, and assist in executing standard technical workflows.

This is an excellent opportunity for a computer-related major to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world enterprise IT infrastructure operations.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:1. On-Site Monitoring & InspectionsAssist in monitoring the IDC data center environment and server rooms to ensure overall facility stability. Conduct regular physical walkthroughs and inspections of the server room to promptly identify, log, and report any environmental or hardware anomalies to the manager. Support the logging and recording of data center operation and maintenance statistics.

2. Work Order Execution & Troubleshooting Support

• Learn and utilize the internal work order system to respond to, allocate, and track tasks under the guidance of senior staff

• Execute basic technical work orders strictly adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Assist network engineers and server experts in troubleshooting, hardware rack mounting, cabling, and basic equipment deployment

3. Safety & Documentation

• Monitor and manage the safety and compliance of external personnel (vendors/contractors) during on-site construction or maintenance.

• Assist in compiling and updating documentation, daily operation logs, and weekly maintenance reports.
