AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (CONTINENTAL VEHICLES)

Location: Baihaki Automotive Sdn Bhd, Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu, Kelantan

About Us:

Baihaki Automotive is a growing automotive service centre specializing in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. We are expanding our Continental Vehicle Division and seeking skilled Automotive Technicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics & Repair

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on Continental vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, MINI, Land Rover, Volvo, and other European brands.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
• Carry out repairs according to manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and component replacement.

Workshop Operations

• Ensure all repair jobs are completed efficiently and within the allocated time.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify repairs and diagnose faults.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
• Comply with workshop safety regulations and operating procedures.

Technical Development

• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Participate in technical training and skill development programs.
• Assist junior technicians and apprentices when required.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Experience working with Continental vehicles is highly preferred.
• Familiar with automotive diagnostic equipment and scanning tools.
• Good understanding of vehicle electrical, electronic, engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems independently.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D).
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work in a team environment.

Added Advantages

• Experience with Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnostic, BMW ISTA, VCDS, ODIS, Launch, Autel, or other diagnostic platforms.
• Experience in engine overhaul, gearbox repair, and advanced electrical diagnostics.
• Previous experience at authorized dealerships or Continental specialist workshops.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
