About the role

Join Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Surveyor in our Papar Sabah office. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction surveying operations, helping to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in conducting land surveys, setting out construction works, and collecting field data
• Support the preparation of survey plans, reports, and other documentation
• Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS devices
• Collaborate with project teams to provide surveying and measurement services
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the quality of surveying data
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of surveying processes and practices

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in construction or land surveying
• Strong practical skills in using surveying equipment and software
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant surveying standards, regulations, and safety practices
