Tanggungjawab

The Weighbridge Helper is responsible for operating the weighbridge, recording the weights of lorries transporting finished products and chemicals, and ensuring accurate data entry

General Duties of Weighbridge Helper:

  • Oversee overall housekeeping at the gantry, vessel area, pump area, interceptor 2, sealing shed, and POME unloading skid.
  • Perform top loading for own collection.
  • Line up POME tanks.
  • Assist fitters when necessary.
  • Change walkie-talkie batteries at the gantry during morning and night shifts.
  • Train new drivers on top loading and bottom loading procedures.
  • Assist drivers with loading issues when problems arise.
  • Conduct POME sampling and discharge.
  • Assist with NEMO 6134 transfer from V5751 to V5752.
  • Collect loading samples for quality assurance checks according to the agreed schedule.
  • Assist with any slop products brought back and discharged at Interceptor 2.
  • Check additive level readings at the end of each day.
  • Update the HSSE board every morning.
  • Attend daily STM meetings and report any issues or concerns.
  • Provide overtime coverage as required.
  • Assist with additional job assignments as requested by any day staff of the operation production team.
  • Operate the forklift as requested by the shift team, ensuring safe operation at all times.
  • Operate the vacuum truck as requested by the shift team, ensuring safe operation at all times.
  • Manage daily weighbridge operations and highlight any issues as necessary; carry out troubleshooting when needed.
  • Conduct other measurement tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma or certification in a technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in weighbridge operations or related roles.
  • Job Knowledge: Expertise in weighbridge operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, data entry, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Competency: Strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
