Overall Job Scope

The Production Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily manufacturing processes in strict accordance with  Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations. This role focuses on hands-on equipment operation and meticulous documentation to ensure product quality and batch consistency.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Professional Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: Prior experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Food Manufacturing) is highly preferred, but fresh graduates with a relevant technical diploma are encouraged to apply.

• Skills:

  • Basic understanding of GMP requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent handwriting and documentation discipline.

  • Ability to work in shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, clean, and monitor pharmaceutical production machinery according to established SOPs.

• GMP & Compliance: Strictly adhere to GMP guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within controlled environments.

• Documentation: Complete Batch Production Records, logbooks, and process checklists accurately and in real-time, ensuring full traceability.

• Material Handling: Safely handle, weigh, and verify raw materials and in-process products, reporting any deviations or material discrepancies immediately.

• In-Process Checks: Perform routine in-process quality controls (e.g., weight, thickness, or appearance checks) to ensure batches meet specification limits.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) and assist in the sanitization of rooms and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
