Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, CNC Machining, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC machining, machine setup, precision manufacturing, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of CNC machines, machining processes, and equipment commissioning.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process documentation.

• Knowledge of machining parameters, process optimization, tooling, fixtures, and measurement techniques.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Familiarity with common machining issues and troubleshooting methods.

• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and inspection procedures.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.

• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and perform shift work or overtime when required.

• Knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens) will be an advantage.

• Basic English reading skills for technical manuals are preferred.

• Mandarin language proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, debug, and perform trial runs of CNC machines to ensure production and precision requirements are met.

• Set machining parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, and cutting depth according to technical drawings and process requirements.

• Conduct first-piece inspections and coordinate with quality inspectors to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.

• Install, adjust, and calibrate tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.

• Monitor machine accuracy, spindle performance, guide rails, and positioning systems; identify and resolve abnormalities.

• Troubleshoot machining issues including dimensional deviations, surface defects, vibration (chatter), and abnormal tool wear.

• Optimize machining processes, cutting parameters, and clamping methods to improve productivity and product quality.

• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, tightening, and rust prevention.

• Maintain accurate records of machine setup, inspections, maintenance, and corrective actions.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

• Provide technical guidance and training to machine operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
