Clinic Healthcare Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Clinic Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered healthcare services. This role manages administrative functions, staff performance, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational improvements while supporting clinical teams in delivering excellent patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor clinic performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Ensure adequate staffing and efficient scheduling.
Staff Management
- Supervise administrative and support staff.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Address employee performance and disciplinary matters when necessary.
Patient Experience
- Ensure high standards of customer service.
- Resolve patient complaints and service issues professionally.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement initiatives.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage clinic budgets.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and operational costs.
- Review financial reports and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Oversee billing, insurance claims, and payment processes.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- Coordinate internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained.
Clinical Support
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure adequate medical supplies and equipment availability.
- Support implementation of new healthcare technologies and systems.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare operational reports for senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Patient waiting time
- Appointment utilization
- Revenue performance
- Patient satisfaction
- Staff productivity
- Operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- Master's degree (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare or clinic operations management.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,665.78 per month
