Overview of the Role

The candidate is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contract employees, from onboarding through to offboarding. This includes preparing offer letters, administering insurance benefits, organizing engagement activities, maintaining accurate employee records, and handling disciplinary matters.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of the full HR cycle and strong knowledge of labor laws. The goal is to build positive relationships with contract employees while ensuring client satisfaction through efficient and professional HR support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and coordinate interviews, draft offer letters, and oversee the entire offer process.
  • Prepare and administer employment contracts for contract staff.
  • Create and maintain personal files for all contract employees.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Track and manage contract renewals and terminations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records in the HR Management System.
  • Handle insurance enrollment and termination for contract employees.
  • Conduct briefings on employment terms and guide employees on using the Employee Self-Service system (e.g., timesheets).
  • Manage performance reviews and disciplinary discussions, and provide counseling support when necessary.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives for contract staff.
  • Ensure monthly timesheets are collected and processed on time.
  • Liaise with client representatives, including Hiring Managers and Team Leads, to resolve issues and provide effective HR support.
  • Achieve Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets agreed upon with the client.
  • Be stationed at the client’s office on a rotational basis to support operational needs and strengthen relationships.
  • Conduct people management and engagement activities across various divisions at the client’s office.

Key Competencies

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and payroll processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic with strong interpersonal and people management abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
