• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a similar technical drafting role.

• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.

• Familiarity with fabrication processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding.

• High attention to detail with the ability to produce precise technical drawings.

• Knowledge of document control practices and revision management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or product development environments.

• Familiarity with PDM or PLM systems.

• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

• Experience with PCB and mechanical integration drawings is an advantage.

• Prepare detailed 2D fabrication drawings from 3D CAD models and engineering designs.

• Produce manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, finishes, and technical notes.

• Review engineering designs to ensure manufacturability, completeness, and drawing accuracy.

• Maintain, revise, and manage engineering drawings while ensuring proper version control.

• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and relevant engineering standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).

• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to clarify technical requirements.

• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) by updating drawings and documentation.

• Organize engineering documentation and maintain drawing traceability.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting efficient manufacturing documentation.
