• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in data entry, costing, accounts, or administration is an advantage.
• Good with numbers and strong attention to detail.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Basic knowledge of costing, purchasing, or accounting processes is preferred.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organized, and accurate in work.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our Costing Department. The candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining costing-related data accurately in company systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in handling figures, and the ability to manage costing records efficiently.

• Enter and update costing data into company systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Record material costs, supplier quotations, purchase prices, and project costing information accurately.
• Verify costing data and ensure all records are complete and updated.
• Check invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist in preparing costing reports, summaries, and analysis for management review.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of costing records.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Accounts, and other departments to obtain accurate costing information.
• Identify data discrepancies and report errors promptly.
• Ensure confidentiality of company pricing and costing information.
• Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
