Job Summary
Lead and oversee the company's daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable business performance. This role is responsible for managing multiple departments, improving systems, developing people, and driving continuous operational improvement while preparing to take on a future Chief Operating Officer (COO) position.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all departments.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Resolve operational issues and implement preventive solutions.
Department Leadership
Manage and coordinate:
- Production
- Warehouse & Inventory
- Planning & Scheduling
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Customer Service
- Administration
- Human Resources
Process Improvement
- Develop and improve SOPs.
- Streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop department managers and employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and KPI monitoring.
- Build accountability and strengthen leadership within teams.
Business Performance
- Monitor operational KPIs.
- Analyse business performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure company objectives are achieved.
Problem Solving
- Make operational decisions independently.
- Resolve cross-department issues effectively.
- Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
Skills
- Strong leadership and people management.

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- George Town: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
