We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development & Operations Manager to lead our Painting & Blasting division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving the company's sales and operational targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and secure new Painting & Blasting projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tender documents, and negotiate contracts.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry networking events.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Operations Management
- Plan, manage, and monitor Painting & Blasting projects from commencement to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and company procedures.
Leadership
- Lead and supervise project teams, supervisors, and site personnel.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching where necessary.
- Work closely with Management, Procurement, QS, and Finance departments.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Painting & Blasting, Industrial Coating, Marine, Oil & Gas, or related industries.
- Proven experience in business development and project management.
- Strong network within the industrial, marine, oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant sectors is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Able to travel for client meetings and project visits.

- Basic Salary: RM8,000 – RM12,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Commission Scheme
- 1% commission on the contract value for projects successfully secured, subject to project commencement and receipt of the client's initial payment; or
- 5%–10% commission based on the project's net profit after project completion and full payment received.
KPI
- Achieve annual sales target.
- Secure new clients and projects.
- Maintain project profitability.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction and maintain HSE compliance.
- Additional Requirements
- We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with a proven track record in the Painting & Blasting industry.
- The candidate must possess strong industry connections and an established network of clients developed through previous working experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are capable of bringing in existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities for the company.
- The candidate should have a proven ability to secure projects, develop long-term client relationships, and contribute to business growth from day one.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
