HR & COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources and Compliance functions across the Group, ensuring alignment with the Company's business objectives.

2. Develop, implement and continuously review HR policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

3. Ensure compliance with all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations, including the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, PDPA and other statutory obligations.

4. Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, probation, confirmation, promotion, performance management, disciplinary matters, contract renewals and employee separation.

5. Advise Management on HR strategies, employment law, employee relations, disciplinary matters, organisational restructuring and risk management.

6. Lead investigations, issue disciplinary actions, conduct Domestic Inquiries and ensure all employment-related matters are managed in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.

7. Liaise and maintain effective relationships with government authorities and regulatory agencies, including Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK), EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, DOSH, CIDB and other relevant authorities.

8. Ensure all licences, permits, statutory registrations and compliance requirements relating to the Company's construction, infrastructure, quarry and transportation operations are monitored, renewed and maintained in a timely manner.

9. Coordinate and support internal audits, external audits, compliance inspections and regulatory visits by government authorities and clients.

10. Develop, monitor and improve compliance frameworks, risk registers and corrective action plans to minimise legal, operational and business risks.

11. Review and prepare employment contracts, HR documentation, company policies, agreements and official correspondence to ensure legal compliance.

12. Monitor compliance with project contractual obligations, client requirements and company governance standards.

13. Work closely with Project, Operations, Safety, Finance and Administration departments to ensure consistent implementation of company policies and compliance requirements.

14. Lead employee engagement, training, leadership development and succession planning initiatives to strengthen organisational capability.

15. Prepare monthly HR and Compliance reports, manpower analysis, compliance updates and management reports for the Directors and Senior Management.

16. Drive continuous improvement initiatives relating to HR processes, compliance systems and corporate governance.

17. Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of all employee records, company information and compliance documentation.

18. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Directors or Management from time to time.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
