Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction and engineering projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. The role involves minimizing project costs while maintaining quality and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Analyze project drawings and specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
• Monitor project expenditures and cash flow
• Manage contracts and procurement processes
• Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate prices
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ)
• Track variations and prepare valuation reports
• Conduct site visits and progress assessments
• Ensure projects comply with legal and quality standards
• Prepare final accounts and project reports
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients

Required Skills

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Proficiency in estimating and QS software

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
