1. Basic culinary qualification or relevant kitchen experience.

2. Strong interest in food preparation and professional cooking.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

4. Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

5. Willingness to learn and take direction.

- Assist in the daily preparation of ingredients including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning.

- Responsible for supporting a designated kitchen section in the preparation and execution of specific menu items to the required standards.

- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.

- Assist senior chefs during service periods.

- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation at all times.

- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

- Assist with stock handling, proper storage, and minimising food wastage.

- Participate in mise en place, opening, and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
