The Human Resource Executive is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role acts as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring the hotel attracts, retains and develops top talent while maintaining a positive work culture that aligns with the brand’s service standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Termination

· Administer all administration on recruitment and termination including exit interview processes

· Coordinate new hires and intern’s onboarding, managing joining formalities and ensuring new hires are properly integrated into the company culture

· Conducting new hires and intern’s orientation / induction

2. Employee Relations and Engagement

· Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, clarification, grievances, conflicts or disciplinary issues

· Assist in promoting a positive work culture

· Assist Human Resource Manager to organize employee engagement activities (staff gathering, annual staff party, wellness program)

· Attend meetings in the absence of the Human Resources Manager

3. Training and Development

· Coordinate mandatory training (food handling, Halal awareness, OSHA)

· Create departmental training catalogue upon request by Head of Department for on-the-job training, online training, external training

· To arrange and handle matters pertaining to typhoid injection for all food handlers; i.e. F&B and Kitchen personnel, Purchasing personnel, Duty Managers, etc.

4. Payroll & Compensation Administration

· Monitoring, tracking and checking of staff attendance and leave records.

· Administering employee benefits and facilities administration such as cafeteria, lockers, grooming standard, accommodation, duty meals, uniform)

· Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries

5. Compliance and Policy Implementation

· Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and hotel brand standards

· Liaise with government agencies regarding staff accommodation licencing / inspections, application of typhoid vaccination for food handlers

6. HR Metrics and Reporting

· Updating of organization chart, staff hostel listing, part-timers listing, interns listing, recruitment tracker, new joined and resignation tracker

7. HR Administration

· Ensure disciplining and counselling are referred to Human Resource Manager and be conducted effectively adhering to industrial guidelines, policy and procedure of the Hotel at all times.

· Helps employees identify specific behaviours that will contribute to service excellence.

· Assist with Internship or training program and ensuring that all Interns are receiving the necessary support and guidance during their industrial exposure training.

· Assist with employee relation issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinarians, grievance and capability

· Assists the HR manager in Budget preparation where required and is fully aware of all Budgeted Positions and hiring approvals

· Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and provides information only to those with a need to know

8. To handle and/or assist any other matters not mentioned above that may be assigned by the superior and/or the Management from time to time.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
