Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) •

5 years of relevant working experience •

Attended Fire Rescue Training at Fire and Rescue Academy Malaysia, Wakaf Tapai. •

Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. •

Lead and supervise Fire & Rescue personnel in responding to emergency incidents, including firefighting and rescue operations within port premises and waterfront areas. •

Conduct vessel inspections at DCJ, including Ship/Shore Safety Checklists, and perform safety inspections for hot work, dangerous cargo handling, bunkering, confined space entry, ship-to-ship operations, and other high-risk activities. •

Carry out safety and security patrols to ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and applicable laws by port users, contractors, employees, and visitors. •

Conduct drills and training programmes to improve the skills, knowledge, and emergency response capabilities of Fire & Rescue personnel. •

Ensure all firefighting, rescue, emergency, and safety equipment, including vehicles and ambulances, are properly maintained, tested, and ready for immediate use. •

Serve as the emergency command officer during incidents and report directly to the Assistant Fire Superintendent (AFS) and Fire Chief on operational and emergency service matters. •

Provide safety advice and guidance to port staff, contractors, port users, and visitors as required.Deliver theoretical and practical training on firefighting, rescue operations, and safety awareness to fire, security, and other personnel.Assist in enforcing the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and support port security, safety, and administrative activities.
