• Assist with the development and implementation policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
• Monitor HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them, and problem solve if there are any grievances.
• Manage employee disciplinary matters and taken necessary disciplinary action.
• Assist with the process of recruitment, job advertisements, screening applications and arranging interviews.
• Process monthly payrolls calculation (Inclusive of monthly allowances, claims, overtime reimbursement, etc.)
• Issue HR related letters such as employment offers, confirmation, resignation, memo & etc.
• To ensure effective day-to-day operation in terms of office maintenance, facilities, safety, and security.
• Conduct orientation program for new hire.
• Performs HR operational tasks that include personnel data administration, organization data maintenance, time & attendance data administration, leave management.
• Provide support and advice employees on HR related matters where needed.
• Focal point to employee and insurance provider in any matter pertaining to employment insurance.
• To monitor employee attendance and prepare monthly employee attendance report.
• Responsible all administration matters including cleanliness of office, renew licenses/permit and service provider (Maxis, Syabas, TNB, SESCO & LAKU).
• Coordinate HR projects if any.
• Perform other administrative tasks including office maintenance and office purchases.
• To perform any other jobs that is assigned as and when the needed.
Job requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 2-4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill: Good knowledge and experience in Malaysia Labour Law Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 and Sabah Labour Ordinance Cap 67.
• Have positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Matured with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
• Must possess knowledge of Malaysia Statutory requirement e.g EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Income tax & HRDF, Zakat etc.
• Possess good interpersonal, comprehension skills and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Must be good in discipline, time management and self-motivated.
• Work location will be in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
• Willing to travel.
• Working hours (5 days per week) (8 hours/day).
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
