POSITION SUMMARY:
Works with Production, Engineering and related department to solve QMS related issue in AE process and procedure. Assist QMS Engineer to coordinate QMS processes improvement activities in AE both for manufacturing process and product quality, ensure process ability and product quality meets AE standard, customers’ requirements and ISO 9001 requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist QMS Engineer to handle QMS related issue in AE process and procedure, implement containment action, investigate the root cause, follow up corrective actions and response to related person/department.
2. Perform line process audit, process compliance audit, 6S audit as per schedule or when required.
3. Report and follow up any QMS related issues and nonconformities in jobs routine.
4. Purge coordination and follow up.
5. Follow up on DA & ECO implementation.
6. Compile audit reports and verify corrective action on audit findings in timely manner.
7. Guide related persons such as operator and inspector on QMS and Quality standard understanding.
8. Prepare quality alert and training materials to improve awareness on QMS related processes.
9. Assist in documentation registration and tracking.
10. Data collecting and analysis, and drive improvement with data.
11. Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily works in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Because of the nature of the product being produced, high voltage and current conditions exist and appropriate precautions must be observed.
SKILLS:
1. Good communication skill, be able to coordinate persons from different departments to implement the quality activities and solve quality issues.
2. English and Malay communication skills in verbal and written.
3. Skills of process and product audit skills.
4. Basic knowledge of ISO standard related such as 9001 and 14001.
5. Knowledge and understanding of ESD & Cleanroom practices.
6. Good team work.
7. PC skills, able to publish reports with MS office such as excel, word, PPT and etc.
8. Able to train and educate inspectors and assemblers.
9. Able to support overtime and work shift when necessary.
EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing environment especially with High Level Assembly or related to inspection and quality.
EDUCATION:
Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
