Secondary/SPM/'O' Level-Diploma
24-30
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience in Retail industry / line as a Sales Supervisor;
  • Experience working in a Japanese-based companies would be an added advantage.

Tanggungjawab

  • Closely supervise, train & motivate staff, so that they can organize effective cooperative sales team thereby carrying out designated plan and at the same time maintain good morale.
  • To greet customers with smile at all times and to train sales staff on customer greeting manners.
  • To assist in improving store facilities and environment to attract customers.
  • Assign daily sales target for each section in terms of such specific figure and instruction so that sales staff can plan and organize sales effort.
  • Allocate and arrange roster for sales staff on relevant working, clear who, when and what is to be done.
  • Always take advantage on every opportunity to make sales.
  • Identify best-selling items and ensure that the information obtained from sales team is correct before passing it on to the superior.
  • To ensure constant replenishing of fast selling items and always ensure sufficient stocks by liaising with the person in charge.
  • To ensure slow moving and damaged merchandise (for Foodmarket, expired merchandise) are properly return to supplier.
  • Constantly ensure the merchandise on display as follows:-
  • The items are matching with the existing shelf tag.
  • Expired (Foodmarket items) or damaged merchandise are timely removed from the shelf.
  • Display in good and proper condition.
  • Simple display with clear P.O.P.
  • Keep merchandise shortage to the minimum by checking:-
  • Quantity of merchandise received. 
  • Quantity of merchandise that in the stock room or on the sales floor is at minimum level.
  • Quantity of merchandise transferred in-out is properly documented.
  • Quantity of merchandise returned / exchanged.
  • Alteration of unit price and amount are properly documented.
  • To optimize storage space in relation to inventory requirements by a proper “check and control system”.
  • Arrange sales fixtures in order to give an impressive outlook of the department by not forgetting to allow sufficient passage for easy movement of the customer.
  • Always ready to assist customer inquiry and comments by providing feedback to the Management.
  • Arrange for relief cashier or perform cashiering duty as and when necessary in order not to keep customer waiting for too long.
  • Liaison with others in building good working relationship.
