Kelayakan
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory role in oil and gas plants.
- Have a sound knowledge of the practices, procedures, and techniques essential to the maintenance of plant instruments.
Tanggungjawab
- Lead and supervise the E&I team to execute the preventive and predictive programs.
- Review and provide input on technical drawings, SLD, and control circuits.
- Perform troubleshooting and determine necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Perform required maintenance duties as needed on an on-call basis as scheduled.
- To perform root cause analysis of failures and develop counter-measures to prevent future failures of Equipment.
- Must understand the basic system design concept of different instrument measurements/automation in the plant.
- Able to participate in shutdown work planning and execution.
- Perform spare parts planning and follow-up with vendors.
- Comply with and update plant documentation such as as-built, instrument electrical hook-up/ DCS and PLC cabinet drawings etc.
- Setting up and update the instrument/ electrical maintenance programs and schedules
- Initiate and prepare handover to subordinates/ contractors and ensure all maintenance checks are completed and documented, adhering to company standards for equipment installation.
- Repair and maintain plant instrumentation systems.
- Repair and calibrate instruments used for various process measurements and controls throughout the plant process areas.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of department activities.
- Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks
- Perform weekly inspections and take an inventory of tools and equipment and submit requisition to replace broken or missing items.
- Monitor and update daily manpower reports and feedback on any shortages.
- Plan and enforce E&I works according to schedule and specified targets.
- Supervise and monitor every aspect of the status and progress of the works.
- Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments.
- Able to communicate and work closely with workers and contractors to plan for priority activities in line with the sequence of works
- Maintain the material and works quality/ standards according to project specifications.
- Attend weekly sub-contractor meetings and provide feedback on all site issues and assist in providing solutions to resolve the problems.
- Supervise and monitor every aspect of the status and progress of the works.
- Prepare and update weekly progress reports and submit them to Planning Department.
- Prepare request for inspection according to to approve Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
- Communicate engineering/ technical/ quality requirements to the team.
- To assist the Superintendent or Engineer to perform planning of labor, tools, and materials.
- Supervise and inspect electrical and instrumentation construction on-site buildings, common facilities, and erection.
- Direct involvement and support of safety controls to workers all the time and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring that team members adhere to safe working practices.
- To actively participate in safety programs and implementation such as speaking at toolbox meetings.
- To complete Work Orders and document the time, tasks, and parts/supplies needed to complete the Work Order in the software.
- To maintain updated documentation of all electrical and/or instrumentation changes implemented by said individual or contractors hired by the plant.
- Lead shift activities/ team building/ good communication skills.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
