They are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented tax associate to join the accounting team. As their newest team member, the tax associate will be responsible for preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations at every step of the filing process. This person will also maintain thorough tax records for the organization, compiling reports on expenditures, payroll, and revenue. In addition to serving an important role within the accounting department, the tax associate will work across teams to communicate tax strategy to key employees throughout the organization.

• Track yearly and quarterly revenue and expenses for accurate preparation of tax returns
• Create additional documentation when necessary, including tax forecasting reports for internal review
• Collaborate with team members in communicating tax strategies to coworkers in other departments
• Maintain accurate database of tax records, and manage electronic bookkeeping software
• Remain up to date on industry developments
