Job Scope
Assist engineers in supervising IWMF construction and ensuring compliance with design specifications and statutory requirements.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and FATs (local/overseas) for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Lead technical teams in operations and maintenance of waste-to-energy facilities.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance for electrical and control equipment (e.g., generators, motors, switchgears, DCS).
Manage O&M contracts and enforce safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
Support preparation of SOPs, safety procedures, and continuous improvement projects.
Perform shift work when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Nitec in Engineering.
Diploma: Preferably 3 years’ experience (fresh graduates considered).
Nitec: Preferably 6–8 years’ experience.
Advantage: Professional certifications (LEW, Boiler Attendant, WSH Officer).
Strong technical and analytical skills; knowledge of solid waste management preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Navisworks and Primavera P6 an advantage.
Mature, independent, team player with good communication skills.
Able to work in waste-to-energy facilities and perform rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
