Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Manufacturing
Position Title: QC Technician
Working Location: Tuas
Working Hours: 5 Days, Sunday - Thursday (8.30am – 5.30pm)
Salary Package: Basic + Allowances + AWS + VB
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Conduct all laboratory testing and measurements precisely, following established procedures.
Prepare standards and reagents for analysis and ensure that all associated documentation is maintained.
Upkeep and troubleshooting of instruments, and document maintenance activities.
Update and monitor internal SPC charts.
Verify inventory of all stored samples and ensure all records are kept.
Manage the receipt of QA department purchases and verify the received items.
Assist with audit preparation.
Participate in identifying near-miss incidents and suggest improvements for QEHS practices.
Ensure the cleanliness of the laboratory.
Adhere strictly to all EHS and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
Perform any additional duties as necessary.

At least a Diploma in Chemical or science discipline.
Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.
Basic understanding of Quality standards will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
