Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Food Packaging)
Position Title: Purchasing Assistant
Working Location: Depot Road
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30am-6pm)
Salary Package: Basic $2,800 - $3,500 + VB
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Request supplier quotations, compare prices, issue purchase orders on time, and keep accurate records of goods received and delivery orders (local and overseas).
Help prepare sales quotations using KPI.
Enter, sort, and file purchasing documents; review purchasing activities, including delivery order and service scheduling.
Issue purchase orders to suppliers and prepare related shipping documents.
Issue delivery orders.
Maintain accurate stock records and keep inventory up to date.
Conduct stocktakes and manage inventory control.
Handle phone and email enquiries.
Any other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned.

Purchasing experience in manufacturing/packaging is an advantage.
