Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Constructions (Roads & Railways)
Position Title: Project Engineer (Civil / Roadwork) Working Location: Kovan
Working Location: Kovan
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM (No need to work on Saturday if no project)
Salary Package: Basic Salary + HP Allowance + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Assist project manager with planning, coordination, and execution of roadworks.
Supervise site works: roads, pavements, drainage, utilities diversion.
Ensure LTA/authority and traffic management compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and client reps.
Review drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
Monitor progress, cost, and quality to meet schedule/specs.
Prepare reports, maintain site docs, and support authority inspections.
Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in roadwork projects (LTA exposure is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of road construction methods, traffic management, drainage, and utilities coordination.
Good understanding of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and safety compliance.
Familiarity with local authority submission processes is an added advantage.
