Position Title

Technician, Simulator Maintenance

Reporting To

Assistant Manager, Maintenance & Technical Support

Position Summary

Carry out repair and maintenance of Flight Simulator Training Devices and their components for MAB Academy in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Carry out the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance in order to achieve optimum simulator serviceability.
• Perform repair and overhaul of simulator parts to ensure spares are available at all times.
• Perform daily readiness check on all simulator to ensure the equipment are operational for flight crew training.
• Regularly monitor building facilities and report to property department for any abnormalities to ensure environment requirement are met.
• Provide support and perform immediate defect rectification as required by simulator instructor during their training session to ensure the training can be completed on time.
• Involvement in adhoc projects as and when required
  
  

Qualifications / Areas of Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Electro Mechanical
• Preferably 1 - 2 years' experience in Maintenance & Operations of Flight Simulator Training Devices
  
  

Areas of Experience

• Basic knowledge in Analog and Digital circuit theory and computer hardware/software literate.
• Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagram. Experiences in using electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc)..
