Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of an Environmental Platform for UOB. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both backend and frontend components, while ensuring smooth integration of development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

This role requires strong experience in Linux environments, automation, containerization, and full stack development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications, including both frontend and backend components.

• Build scalable and secure applications using modern web technologies and frameworks.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and release processes.

• Integrate development tools such as version control systems, build automation tools, testing frameworks, and development tools into the software development lifecycle.

• Coordinate with development teams and architects to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Infrastructure & Automation

• Develop automation scripts and configuration management solutions using Ansible.

• Design and implement secure automation solutions across environments.

• Maintain and support RedHat Linux environments.

Cloud, Virtualization & Containerization

• Implement containerized solutions using RedHat OpenShift.

• Provide virtualization solutions using VMware infrastructure.

• Support integration between physical infrastructure and cloud environments.

Monitoring & Operations

• Set up and maintain monitoring tools, notifications, and analytics platforms.

• Manage version control systems and configuration management tools.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for critical system issues.

Security & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and best practices in software development and infrastructure management.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong experience working on Linux platforms (preferably RedHat).

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong tool integration experience.

• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as:

  • HTML

  • CSS

  • JavaScript

  • Java

  • Python

  • Node.js

  • Angular

• Experience with databases such as:

  • MySQL

  • MongoDB

• Familiarity with web servers such as:

  • Apache

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

• Experience with OpenShift for container orchestration and management.

• Experience working with VMware infrastructure and integration with cloud environments.

• Knowledge of shell scripting.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with development teams, architects, and infrastructure teams.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in Linux, Cloud, DevOps, or Containerization technologies.

• Experience working in enterprise banking or financial services environments.
