Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design: Lead the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Microservices Development: Build and maintain robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • API Excellence: Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party financial services.
  • Code Quality: Drive technical excellence through rigorous code reviews, unit testing (JUnit/Mockito), and automated integration tests.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to architectural decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployments.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience primarily focused on Java.
  • Core Tech Stack: Expert-level knowledge of Java (8+) and the Spring Framework (specifically Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security).
  • Distributed Systems: Proven experience building and deploying Microservices architectures.
  • Database Mastery: Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Messaging: Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.

Nice To Have

  • Frontend Integration: Proficiency in modern frontend libraries/frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Financial Domain: Previous experience in Financial Services (e.g., Banking, Fintech, Payments, or Trading systems).
  • Security: Understanding of financial security standards, OAuth2, and data encryption.
  • Performance: Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and JVM optimization.
