Full Time Cybersecurity - Networking Specialist Jobs, in NewParadigm Securities Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Job Summary: NewParadigm Financial Group is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity & Networking Specialist (8+ years / Level 2–3) to lead security architecture, compliance, incident response, and infrastructure protection initiatives in a regulated environment such as financial services or government systems.

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and assess network topology, firewall rules, VPNs, and overall security architecture
• Lead incident response and security investigations
• Conduct security gap analysis and risk assessments
• Review and modernize disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Provide audit-ready documentation and compliance reports
• Recommend cost-effective security improvements
• Work closely with leadership during audits and security reviews

Job Requirements:

Experience & Technical Expertise

• 8+ years / Level 2–3 experience in cybersecurity and networking
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity and network security
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, log management, and monitoring tools
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS / Azure)
• Experience working in regulated environments

Compliance & Framework Knowledge

• Knowledge of Monetary Authority of Singapore Technology Risk Management (TRM)
• Knowledge of Securities Commission Malaysia Cybersecurity Framework
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Knowledge of data protection & incident response governance

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Experience with DR strategy design and testing
• Knowledge of RPO / RTO planning
• Experience migrating from tape-based to modern backup solutions
• Ransomware recovery planning

• CISSP

• CEH
• CCSP
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
