As an Account Manager on the Growth Team, you will play a pivotal role in client servicing, account management, and business development. Initially, you will focus on client-facing account management (75%) and gradually transition into a hybrid sales role with a strong emphasis on lead generation and business acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Servicing:
- Collaborate with founders to address startup growth needs, including back-office operations, marketing, legal, finance, and corporate development.
- Shadow colleagues to learn client servicing best practices before transitioning into a client-facing lead role.
Sales & Business Development:
- Master lead generation, attend networking events, and build relationships with key stakeholders including founders, market makers, and exchanges (CEX/DEX).
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire and grow business accounts.
- Establish relationships with channel partners such as VCs, incubators, accelerators, and startup networks to generate leads.
- Conduct research to understand and add value to clients’ market positioning.
- Stay updated on tokenomics models and Web3 developments to better advise clients.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of company and client data to ensure streamlined operations.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a high-EQ, driven individual with a passion for business development, account management, or strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is motivated, client-focused, and eager to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of full-time experience in business development/sales/growth roles.
- Experience in a Web3/venture capital (VC) environment or Marketing agency is a must.
- Experience in generating leads.
- Strong Work Ethic: A strong ability to thrive under pressure and excel in a fast-paced startup setting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a client-first mindset, with the ability to build trust and foster meaningful relationships.
- Self-Motivated: A self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and contributes effectively within a collaborative team.
- Established Web3 Network: An established network within the Web3 ecosystem is highly desirable.
