Job Purpose:
To assist in coordinating and handling all documentation and administrative tasks related to import and export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with customs and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, check, and submit shipping and customs documentation for import and export activities.
- Liaise with forwarding agents, transporters, customs officers, and port authorities to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Update shipment status and maintain accurate records of all documents and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing reports and filing documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Warehouse, Accounts, and Operations) on shipment-related matters.
- Handle data entry, filing, and other administrative duties related to forwarding operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1–2 years of working experience in forwarding, shipping, or logistics.
- Basic knowledge of customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
