Job Summary

As a Logistics Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods within and outside the manufacturing facility in CEPCO. This role ensures efficient logistics operations, supports production requirements, and maintains accurate inventory and delivery performance while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow
• Plan and manage transportation, deliveries, and dispatch schedules
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock movement and documentation
• Oversee loading/unloading activities and ensure proper handling of goods
• Ensure compliance with logistics procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize delays
• Manage relationships with transporters, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers
• Track and report key logistics metrics (e.g., delivery performance, lead time, costs)
• Lead, train, and supervise logistics staff to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures
• Investigate and resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies
• Support audits and maintain proper documentation for compliance

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse systems, or logistics software.
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and reporting tools.
• Willing to work extended hours when required.
