Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Backup Engineer di Maybank Federal Territory - Maukerja

To provide engineering and operational support for MBB Backup Infrastructure.

Primary scope is to provide Operational support and Project support for Backup infrastructure.

• Senior DPS Engineer must have at least 5 years hands on experience in one of the Backup technologies (Veritas, Veeam, Cohesity or Commvault).

• Should have experience in handling multi-peta byte Backup infrastructure. Experience with migrating the backup infrastructure is an added advantage.

• Should have strong understanding of Backup Process and Procedures. Should be able to define the SOPs, create the technical documentation.

• Should be able to work under pressurised environments with minimum guidance.

• Should have strong problem and analytical skills.

• Should have experience with Disk Appliances Such as (Veritas Appliances, Data Domain, Exagrid).

• Must have experience in setting up the Disk Appliances such as Veritas Appliances, Data Domain, Exagrid and Netbackup & Veeam (media and Master, Proxies).

• Having in Experience with tapeless technologies like Dell ECS, Hitachi HCP & Cohesity is added advantage.

• Should have strong verbal and written communication skills & presentation skills. Must have experience with collaborating and project management skills.

• Having experience in the Storage Technologies like EMC and Pure Storage, Zerto and EMC Recover point is added advantage.

• Able to work closely with Lead/Head, DPS to deliver the critical projects.

• Should be able to work closely with the team members and support the day to day BAU operations and eliminate the frequent backup failures.

• Having Experience in Storage replication technologies is an added advantage.

• Should have strong understanding of Database technologies such (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, and IBM DB2) and replication technologies available for databases.

• Must have experience with Veritas Netbackup IT Analytics, Veeam One, Cohesity or Commvault.

• Should have experience in dealing with Tapes and Procedures involved in Tapes.

• Having experience in tapeless technologies and object storage implementations should have added advantage.

Requiirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or relevant discipline – minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in IT
