• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for laser cutting production.
• Prepare laser cutting programs and nesting layouts using CAD/CAM software.
• Optimize material utilization and cutting efficiency to minimize waste and improve productivity.
• Select suitable cutting parameters based on material type, thickness, and product requirements.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Perform machine setup verification and support operators during production runs.
• Troubleshoot programming and cutting issues to reduce downtime and improve process stability.
• Maintain and update program files, setup sheets, and production records systematically.
• Conduct basic dimensional and visual inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement activities for laser cutting processes, cycle time, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, 6S practices, and company operating standards.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of laser cutting process and sheet metal fabrication.
• Able to read technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Familiar with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SigmaNEST, Boost, BySoft, or related software.
• Basic understanding of different metal materials and thicknesses.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without experience but willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
