Cost Controller (2-Year Contract)


Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a major infrastructure development programme. They are seeking a hands-on Cost Controller to drive cost control, financial discipline, and reporting across a large-scale CAPEX project.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost control frameworks (WBS, cost codes, control budgets)
• Track project expenditure against budgets, commitments, and forecasts, ensuring alignment to scope
• Perform variance analysis (planned vs actual vs forecast) and identify key cost drivers
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Prepare cost reports for senior stakeholders including management and steering committees
• Support CAPEX budgeting and reforecasting exercises
• Track change orders and assess financial impact on overall project budgets
• Support procurement and commercial teams in cost evaluations and contract variations
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, audit requirements, and accounting standards
• Identify and manage cost risks across the project lifecycle, partnering closely with cross-functional teams
  
  

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in project cost control, project finance, or capital project environments
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, or large-scale industrial projects preferred
• Familiarity with multi-year CAPEX projects and project lifecycle frameworks
• Strong ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end cost control in a complex environment

Desired Skills and Experience

8-10+ years of experience in project cost control, project finance, or capital project environments
