We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our Digital, Technology and Information (DTI) Department.


About the Role

The Consultant - IT Project Manager is required to oversee and manage the end-to-end implementation of complex systems, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology solutions within the organization. The role involves in leading cross-functional teams, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The consultant also work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless integration of new systems and the achievement of business goals.


Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Strategy

  • Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. This ensures all stakeholders have a clear roadmap and expectations for the project.


2. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business units, IT teams, and vendors to define project objectives, deliverables, and requirements. Effective collaboration ensures alignment and buy-in across departments.


3. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks or bottlenecks early and develop mitigation plans. Proactive risk management helps avoid delays and ensures project success.


4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet deadlines and quality standards.


5. Facilitate Project Meetings

  • Organize and facilitate project meetings to keep all stakeholders aligned with project timelines, goals, and progress.


6. System Implementation Management

  • Oversee the implementation of new IT/digital systems, ensuring integration with existing technology infrastructure. Manage system testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to confirm systems meet functional and performance requirements.


7. Vendor & Third-Party Coordination

  • Coordinate with system vendors and third-party providers to ensure successful implementation and integration of software/hardware solutions.


8. Budget and Resource Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control. Monitor and report on project spending to meet financial objectives and avoid overruns.


9. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, updates, and changes. Provide regular progress reports to senior management, including updates on risks, issues, timelines, and outcomes.


10. Documentation & Status Reporting

  • Prepare project documentation and status reports to keep stakeholders informed of key decisions and milestones.


11. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements. Adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies regarding system implementation and data security.


12. Change Management

  • Coordinate the change management process, preparing the organization for changes associated with new systems. Support user training and adoption efforts for smooth transitions.


13. Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide support after implementation, addressing any bugs or issues quickly and efficiently. Work with IT support teams to monitor system performance and conduct project retrospectives for continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.


Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT project management in any ERP system implementation projects.
  • Well-versed in industry knowledge and business processes.
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of IT systems, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Experience with managing cross-functional teams and working with diverse stakeholders.
