Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Iskandar Puteri for a Research and Development Agronomist. The role involves designing and conducting agricultural research projects, analysing data related to crop performance, and developing innovative solutions to mitigate plant diseases such as root rot. Key responsibilities include field trials, optimizing the application of Hydroemission’s proprietary technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends and advancements. The Research and Development Agronomist will also work closely with clients to ensure product efficacy and provide insights for improving applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting agricultural field trials, crop management, and analyzing experimental data.
• Strong understanding of plant pathology and disease management, including solutions for root rot and other food crop diseases.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to develop innovative agricultural solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with laboratory and field equipment, and the ability to document and present findings clearly.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working on-site and willingness to be based in Iskandar Puteri.
• Knowledge of industry trends and innovation in agriculture or nanotechnology is a plus.
