Job Description

Responsibilities

The Financial Institution Partnerships Senior Manager will play a critical role in developing and delivering Antom’s card scheme and third-party acquirer partnership strategy across APAC, with exposure to global financial institution partners.


This role is responsible for driving end-to-end partnership strategy, implementation, and executive relationship management across card schemes, acquirers, and payment network relationships. The position will report directly to the Head of Financial Institution Partnerships, APAC & MEA.


What You’ll Do


  • Develop a strong understanding of Ant International’s financial operating system, products, and services to ensure the right partners are selected to support the delivery of our roadmap.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of financial institution partnerships, from strategy and partner selection through to signing, implementation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Lead and manage strategic relationships with card schemes, third-party acquirers, payment networks, and financial institution partners across APAC.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Strategy, Finance, and Operations to deliver partnership initiatives successfully.
  • Work with external partners and internal product teams to deliver business requirements, launch new products, improve payment capabilities, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to develop industry-leading payment solutions by working closely with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across the payments and financial institution ecosystem.


Requirements


  • 7+ years of experience in financial institutions, card schemes, acquirers, payment networks, or payments partnerships.
  • Strong existing relationships with card schemes, acquirers, or payment partners in Asia Pacific would be a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of onboarding, compliance, and operational requirements when working with global and regional payment network providers.
  • Strong knowledge of the global financial ecosystem, including embedded finance, digital payments, and the globalization of enterprise payment solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect effectively with internal teams and external senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and product instinct, with the ability to identify partnership opportunities that support both partner objectives and Antom’s existing and future products.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex deals across different markets and regions in parallel.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-border environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving business priorities.
