Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and responsible for the APQP team by coordinating the entire project execution from cradle-to-grave and accomplish the expected quality and delivery time frame.

• Prepare, schedule and monitor the assigned engineering projects with digital project filing system which complies with IATF16949.

• Organize and conduct effective discussion among the APQP technical team members to analyze issues raised during validation.

• Identify root causes to the issues including data analysis based of GD&T which utilizes primarily CMM, effectively establish corrective / preventive actions and validate the results.

• Coordinate and execute the ECN process by establishing proper cut off and buffer build plan, communicate with the customer and follow up from start to end.

• Transfer NPI projects to production, monitor at least 3 consecutive production lots and resolve any issues that arise.

• Control project plan by reviewing design, specification, plan and schedule changes and recommending improvement actions.

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or relevant field.

• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer in injection plastic molding or other relevant manufacturing industries at least for 2 years.

• Intermediate knowledge in Tooling, Tool design, DFM, PPAP, GD&T, Metrology and Plastic moulding process will be added advantage.

• Familiar with interpretation of 2D drawing, testing performance standards and automotive industry standards.

• Advanced MS Office skills.

• Possess good project management supervision skills; able to work with multiple discipline projects and attention to details.

• Self-motivated, quick learner, positive attitude and able to work under tight schedule to meet deadlines.
